According to Zelensky, Ukraine plans to mobilize $800 billion for reconstruction after the end of the conflict with Russia. Kyiv intends to raise funds through equity, grants, debt and private contributions.
Azarov called Zelensky's peace plan an attempt to delay negotiations
The Ukrainian leader said his proposed plan involves the creation of several funds to address the problems of restoring the Ukrainian economy, reconstruction in the affected territories and humanitarian issues.
“For example, in paragraph 9 (of the draft peace plan) on funds: paragraph A. The United States and European countries will establish a capital and endowment fund with a target size of $200 billion for transparent and effective investments in Ukraine,” he noted.
Previously, Zelensky revealed the content of the peace plan discussed at the meeting with the US. The document includes 20 points, some of which are still problematic.
