More than 200 Russian attack drones attacked Ukraine on the night of January 1. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this on his Telegram channel.

Zelensky announced an attack on 200 Russian drones into Ukraine

According to him, the target of drones is energy facilities. Experts are currently working to restore power after the strike.

Previously, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Kherson region using drones with incendiary mixtures. As a result of the strike on cafes and hotels, more than 50 people were injured and 24 civilians died. The head of the region, Vladimir Saldo, declared January 2 and 3 as days of mourning for the victims of the attack on Ukraine.
