US President Donald Trump announced the expansion of anti-drug smuggling operations in Latin America, declaring his readiness to act not only at sea but also on land.
Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, he explained that land operations were easier and more efficient because of the increase in drug trafficking along continental routes.
Trump also cited successes in maritime operations, saying the destruction of targets at sea has helped prevent up to 25,000 drug overdose deaths annually.
Previously, it was reported that Trump publicly called Fed Chairman Powell “stupid”.
