Venezuela has the right to relations with Russia, China and everywhere in the world. Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, announced this in his annual address to the nation.

The new Venezuelan President spoke out about relations with Russia

“Venezuela has the right to relations with China, with Russia, with Cuba, with Iran, with everywhere in the world, with all peoples in the world and also with the United States. We have this right,” she said.

According to her, Caracas will exercise this right “respectfully” and in accordance with international law.

Venezuela rejected US claims about the unsafe situation in the country

Previously, it was known that Rodriguez and Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado were fighting to win the sympathy of US President Donald Trump. Politicians are trying to convince the “unpredictable man” that they are the right person to lead Venezuela's transition.
