Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang will visit Russia on November 17-18, during which he will attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian spoke about this at a press conference, reports RIA Novosti.
“At the invitation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang will visit Russia from November 17 to 18,” the diplomat said.
On November 4, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Other members of the Russian delegation also participated in the negotiations, including Russian Deputy Prime Ministers Tatyana Golikova, Dmitry Chernyshenko and Alexander Novak.
