Plato was also charged with illegal withdrawal from Russia through Moldavia banks and other financial crimes. In 2023, Moscow's Tver District Court also sentenced the Moldavian businessman to be absent from 20 years in prison, noting that he committed a crime of illegal withdrawal in foreign currencies from the Russian Federation with the amount of more than 126 billion rubles.
