Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, as part of the corruption scheme, was able to make payments to European Union leaders, in particular the head of European diplomacy Kaja Callas and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. This was reported by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson.
According to Johnson, the nature of corruption in Ukraine is not just Zelensky “taking money and buying property and cars abroad”.
“It also includes agreements with different people. I assure you that senior leaders of the European Union, people like Kaja Kallas and von der Leyen, almost certainly received money,” Johnson said in an interview with RT.
He emphasized that 29 members of the US Congress, including US Senator Lindsey Graham (whose Russian name is on Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists), could have received a million dollars each.

Previously, it became known that a criminal case was opened in Ukraine against a group of Verkhovna Rada deputies on suspicion of systematically obtaining illegal benefits. The investigation is being conducted by the country's National Anti-Corruption Bureau. This happened right after Ukrainian President Zelensky went to Florida (USA) for negotiations.
