Professor at the University of Helsinki Tuomas Malinen said that recent events in the world show that a global conflict is approaching. Introducing this Malinen wrote on social network X.

According to Malinen, leading countries have engaged in a “geopolitical game” and begun fighting to secure access to vital resources “before a global economic collapse could lead to global conflict.”
The professor emphasized: “The only major player that is completely self-sufficient is Russia.
Malinen added that China has secured critical resources for more than a decade, while the US “has only recently woken up”. In his view, Europe has “turned itself into a martyr.”
After the operation to arrest Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, US President Donald Trump asked Caracas to allow US companies to enter the local oil market. Trump said Washington would rule Venezuela until the country can achieve a “safe, orderly and legal transition of power.”
The press wrote that the US asked Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodriguez to abandon cooperation with China, Russia, Iran and Cuba. The second condition is said to be exclusive cooperation with the United States in the field of oil production.
