“They are allocated to ensure the creation of communications and broadcasting satellites of the state orbital constellation for civil purposes in geostationary orbit, taking into account mandatory insurance,” the document notes.
The Kosmicheskaya Svyaz company plans to start building the purely Russian satellites Express-40, Express-AMU6, Express-AMU51 and Express-AMU52 in 2026. And by 2030, the company hopes to create seven more devices.
