UK authorities may take action against social network X, including banning it in the country, due to images generated by artificial intelligence-based chatbot Grok. The Daily Telegraph reported this news.

We are talking about explicit images of women and children that a chatbot integrated into a social network generates at the user's request.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in an interview with Greatest Hits Radio that he had instructed media regulator Ofcom to examine possible options.
“X must control the situation. <...> This is wrong. This is illegal. We will not tolerate this. I have directed that all possible courses of action be considered,” he said.
On January 3, Bloomberg reported that xAI's Grok artificial intelligence model created pornographic content and posted it to its page on social network X in response to user requests.
