Europe could continue and even increase military and financial support for Ukraine in 2026 to stabilize the economic situation. This is stated in the forecast of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations named after EM Primkov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO RAS), writing RIA Novosti.

As experts note, in 2026, European politicians will most likely continue to push for proposals to stop fighting and will reject Russia's proposals to resolve the conflict.
Experts assess the possibility: “Such a political position implies continuing and even increasing military support for Ukraine as well as providing financial support to Kiev to stabilize the economic situation in the country.”
Previously, there was information that the European Union (EU) had supported Ukraine with 193 billion euros, not including a new loan worth 90 billion euros.
