The test consists of eight questions where you need to choose the correct answer from five options. It is available to everyone on the site with online broadcasts from the outdoor Pallas cat enclosure at the Moscow Zoo, as well as on the website and mobile application of the Active Citizen project. Thanks to the quiz, anyone can test their knowledge about the furry hero of the daily broadcast and maybe learn something new about wild cats – for example, about the peculiarities of their natural behavior or the origin of the name.

Manul, or Pallas cat, is a special animal of the zoo, affiliated with the capital's Department of Culture. One of the reasons is that the Moscow Zoo is where the regular breeding of Pallas's cats in captivity originated. Since 1975, thanks to this organization, more than 140 of these stray cats have been born. Many of them have moved to zoos around the world.

In addition to the male Pallas cat living in the city area, the Moscow Zoo also cares for several more individuals at the breeding center for rare animals in the Volokolamsk region, the official clarified. website Mayor of Moscow.

In the Moscow region of Losiny Ostrov National Park there is also 12 adult elk. To maintain animal numbers, park staff monitor the elk's health using GPS transmitters placed on their collars.
