At 17:00 on January 6 at the indoor artificial skating rink in Zyablikovo, part of the project “Winter in Moscow”, the street event “Under the Christmas Dome” will begin. Visitors can expect an ice show, sports entertainment, dancing and a figure skating class.

The program will open with “Christmas Begins”. Warm-up dancing will prepare every player for the ice. Children will have to overcome a distance full of obstacles and quickly decorate the Christmas tree with New Year's toys.
The highlight of the evening will be the “Journey of a Christmas Star” costume show. According to the plot, the characters – Star, Angel and Snowman Guide – will set out on a journey to light a magical fire. They will be helped by the audience, who will become active participants in the show.
Everyone will be able to demonstrate their ability to glide beautifully on the ice in the competition for the best Christmas bow or participate in couple dances. Beginners will be invited to join a figure skating class. Under the guidance of instructors, residents will master basic techniques, after which they will be invited to participate in competitions to best perform the movements they have learned.
An interactive quiz will allow you to remember the traditions of celebrating Christmas, winter fairy tales and interesting facts about ice skating.
As part of the “Winter in Moscow” project, until January 11, the capital will host Festival “Journey to Christmas”. A specially designed spruce exhibition opened at one of the central locations – Kuznetsky Most Street.
