The capital's confectioners have developed 57 types of sweet Tet candy sets

The capital's United Confectioners Corporation, which includes the Red October, Rot Front and Babaevsky factories, has developed 57 types of sweet sets for the New Year. They will be available in stores nationwide. Each year the company produces about five million of these products for the holiday season. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Transport and Industry of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.

The deputy mayor said: “On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, the city provides comprehensive support to companies involved in the food industry. Capital enterprises produce a wide variety of New Year's products, preserving traditions and introducing modern solutions. During this New Year, only United Confectioners holding factories will produce 57 different types of confectionery sets. Every year the company produces more than 4.6 million sweet souvenirs.”

The set includes chocolate, cookies, waffles and candy. The assortment includes gifts weighing from 150 grams to 1.5 kg. Small products can be a gift for children on the Christmas tree, and solid sets can decorate the holiday table.

Gifts come in brightly colored packaging made of cardboard and wood in modern and classic styles. There are unusual solutions in the form of tubes, soft toys and figures of Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden and a horse – symbols of the coming year.

“Today, more than 120 Moscow enterprises produce confectionery products: cakes, pastries. Meanwhile, there is only one factory “Red October” that produces more than 300 types of products – from cocoa powder to chocolate and handmade sweets,” noted the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment of the capital. Anatoly Garbuzov.

Moscow is the largest industrial, scientific and technical center in Russia. About 150 high-tech businesses open in the city each year. Currently, there are nearly 4.6 thousand industrial companies operating in the capital, employing about 755 thousand people. Today, manufacturers have access to more than 20 effective support measures, including preferential investment loan programs, offset contracts and other tools.
