In 2025, VDNH in Moscow was visited by more than 28 million people. Mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his Telegram channel. According to him, last year more than 1,600 events were held there, of which more than 600 were dedicated to science, culture and art. Sobyanin said more than 50 thousand people visited them.
The Mayor clarified that among the main events of 2025 is the completion of the restoration of historical pavilions, including “Young Naturalists”, “Chemistry” and “Karelia”. In addition, last year the VIII International Art Festival “Inspiration” was held there with the attendance of 100 thousand guests, Sobyanin added.
He recalls that among the most popular sports events in 2025 are the International Yoga Day, the first in a series of mass races – “ZOrun Night – 2025”, the double race including “More than you can be” and others.
At the same time, according to Sobyanin, one of the most popular places in VDNKh in winter is traditionally the ice rink, the area covered with artificial ice reaches more than 20 thousand square meters.
