More than 25 thousand capital volunteers participated in patriotic events commemorating the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

«Volunteer have become indispensable assistants at locations in the city, near historical monuments, in concert halls and right in the city center – on Red Square,” the Mayor of Moscow wrote.
Volunteers congratulated veterans and presented St. George ribbons to residents and visitors of the capital. They distributed triangular letters with stories about heroes and cleaned memorials.
In addition, over the past year, volunteers have helped collect humanitarian goods for soldiers participating in special military operations and participated in patriotic quizzes and master classes.
Throughout 2025 in the capital on a resource center basis “Volunteer” There is an International Volunteer Army training center celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory.
