The first five days of the New Year in Moscow will have moderate frosts, the temperature will drop below normal climatic levels. This was reported by the forecaster of the Phobos center Mikhail Leus, transmit RIA Novosti.

The meteorologist noted that from December 28 to January 5 there will be no ice melt in the capital; Moderate frosty weather is predicted.
“On the last day of this year and the first five days of next year, temperatures will be about 1 to 2 degrees lower than normal,” Leus said.
Over the past 30 years, winter time in the capital has decreased by 9 days. This year, meteorological winter started exactly one month late, on December 13.
