Muscovites will choose the name for the Black Sea bottlenose dolphin, born in September at the Moskvarium Center of Oceanography and Marine Biology in VDNKh. This is stated on official website Mayor of Moscow.
Voting has begun on the Active Citizen project website – among the available names are: Sky, Flippy, Silver, Casper and Motya.
“The child lived in a communal swimming pool for adults, where he presented himself as a calm and observant child,” the press agency said.
At the same time, baby dolphins feel comfortable and spend most of their time next to their mother. Visitors to the Moskvarium can see it through the observation window in the communal pool.
Former Muscovites selected the name for Note's first cub, born last year. The name Lucky received the most votes.
