Launching fireworks, fireworks, rockets and other pyrotechnic products on New Year's Eve can result in an administrative fine for Moscow residents in the amount of from 5 thousand to 50 thousand rubles.

Moscow residents were reminded of the fine for setting off fireworks on New Year's Day

The press service of the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow reported this. They noted that residents and visitors of the capital are advised not to use fireworks due to an increasing number of provocative cases involving the use of fireworks.

“You should limit launching it indoors, from balconies and hallways, near residential buildings and over any transport infrastructure,” the citation says.
