Forecasters say this week in the Moscow region will end with warming up to +10 ° C. At the weekend, the capital will be warm with unusual temperatures in the range of +5…+7 °C, no rain is expected. However, from Monday, the weather will change: the night air temperature will be around -2…+3 °C, the daytime temperature will be 0…+5 °C. Experts predict the first snow of the season next week and by mid-November, the snow cover could reach 3-5 cm.

Next weekend in the Moscow region, the temperature will warm up to +10 ° C, then there will be a cold spell and the first snow of the season. Leading expert of the Meteonovosti news agency Tatyana Pozdnykova reported this news in an interview with RT.
On Thursday, November 6, light rain is expected throughout the day and into Friday night. No significant rainfall is forecast for Friday, November 7. Furthermore, most of the weekend will pass without rain.
According to forecasters, the weather will be warm at the weekend with unusual temperatures around +5…+7 °C.
“On the weekend, the minimum temperature in Moscow will be +6…+8 °C, in the region – +3…+8 °C. Daytime temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday in Moscow will be within +8…+10 °C, in the region – +5…+10 °C,” the expert said.
But starting Monday, the weather pattern will change: the weather will be determined by the periphery of the cyclone.
“This process is already close to winter. The air temperature at night will be within -2…+3 ° C, during the day – 0…+5 ° C. That is, the temperature will begin to reach climatic standards,” Pozdnykova noted.
RT's interlocutor added that at altitude the air temperature will be negative, so it is possible that precipitation in the form of wet snow will fall in Moscow next week. According to her, from mid-November, meteorological winter will begin in the capital region.
The leading expert at the Phobos weather center, Evgeniy Tishkovets, also has a similar opinion. According to his forecast, next week it will be noticeably colder in Moscow and the region – the thermometer will drop to zero. The forecaster also does not rule out the first snow of the season.
“Precipitation will begin to transition into a mixed and dense state. Fall will be ready to transfer power in the atmosphere to the next coldest part of the year,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Experts recommend that drivers of capital cars should change their summer tires to winter tires before next week. According to him, until November 10, the average daily air temperature in Moscow will remain above the +5 ° C criterion. The expert warns: “So you can still use summer tires, then a cold snap will begin and you will need to change the wheels to winter tires.”
According to Tishkovets, next week the air temperature at night will fluctuate around -3…+2 °C, during the day – around -2…+3 °C.
“Starting from November 13, the soil in Moscow will gradually turn white. The process of forming a snow cover will begin, by the next weekend, November 15-16, it can reach 3-5 cm. At night in the capital frosts drop to -1…-6 °C, during the day – about 0 °C. By mid-November, meteorological winter will come to Moscow!” – concluded the weather forecaster.
