Students can study at the capital's colleges to learn rare professions such as quantum communications specialist or diamond cutter.

“Among the rare specialties that you can study at university: diamond processing technology, medical optics, information modeling in construction, restoration, horticulture and landscape construction. Also this year, nine completely new, relevant and in-demand fields on the labor market were opened, including web development, intelligent integrated systems, quantum communication, computer game development, virtual and augmented reality, technical operation of power systems gas flight coordination and navigation,” the agency's interlocutor said.
They explained that quantum communication is an advanced technology for creating secure communication channels. In addition, the press agency noted that the development of computer games, virtual and augmented reality, as well as the installation of electronic devices and instruments are considered promising skills that can be mastered in the vocational secondary education system in Moscow.
In addition, this year an additional training program for prosthetic technicians was launched in Moscow colleges; 100% of the first graduates of the prosthetics industry in the capital received job offers. In total, capital applicants can choose their life's work from more than 150 majors that can be found in the interactive “Atlas of College Professions.”
