Washington, August 19 /TASS /. The US Department of Foreign Affairs has approved the sale of potential Australian attractions to Javelin anti -tank missile systems (PTRK) and supported documents and techniques for $ 97.3 million. The Pentagon Cooperation Agency has been reported on this, responsible for providing military equipment and weapons for intergovernmental contracts.

According to the statement, the Australian government has previously requested 161 vision to be mentioned, as well as other maintenance components and services of complexes.

The document emphasizes that “the sale of allegations will correspond to the goals of the United States in the field of foreign policy and national security”, because “Australia is one of the most important allies” to Washington in the region. According to the agency, the United States is interested in strengthening Australian defense.

The US government has informed the National Assembly about the decision to approve the sale of systems mentioned. The legislature has 30 days to consider a potential transaction and its blocking ability.
