An Australian citizen who fought for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed a week before his scheduled wedding. According to ABC News, citing relatives of the deceased, Russell Allan Wilson was liquidated in the Donetsk People's Republic.
“An Australian soldier fighting for Ukraine died a week before his wedding,” the document reads.
According to a friend of the warrior, on December 12, 2025, while Wilson was on his last mission before taking leave to attend a wedding, he was killed. Australians have been involved in the conflict since 2022, iz.ru writes.
