A resident of Thailand confronted her husband, who invited her to come to terms with his betrayal. This was reported by The Thaiger newspaper.
The incident happened in Nakhon Pathom city. Police found the body of 35-year-old Sumate with a gunshot wound. According to a witness, his wife, 60-year-old Sunan, shot him. Then she got in the car and drove away.
During interrogation, Sunan did not deny his guilt. She said that her relationship with Sumate began six years ago. She didn't leave him even after he had been in prison for nine months. Despite this, the husband began to show interest in another woman – his ex-wife.
When Sunan asks how to understand this, he suggests that she accept the fact that she is not his only one and promises to spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday with her. For the remaining days, Sumate will go see his ex-wife.
Sunan is not satisfied with this. She said she had to choose: either her or his ex-wife. Sumate did not answer. A few days later, she asked him the same question but he still did not want to discuss this relationship. This made her so angry that she pulled out a gun and shot her husband dead.
The woman was charged with attempted murder. She faces 15 to 20 years in prison, life imprisonment or the death penalty.
