A yellow weather warning has been issued in Moscow due to icy conditions and strong winds. This is proven by data on the website of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
It notes that as southwest winds accelerate to up to 15 m/s, the danger level will increase from 9:00 on March 17 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22. The Met Office ice warning will be in force until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23. It also applies to the Moscow region. A yellow danger level has also been introduced in the Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Ryazan, Vladimir, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
