The US is asking its allies to refuse to invite Ukraine and four official partners of the alliance in the Indo-Pacific region to attend the NATO summit in Ankara on July 7-8, Politico wrote, citing unnamed diplomats.
“The US is putting pressure on its allies not to invite Ukraine… Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea to official meetings at the NATO summit in Ankara in July,” the publication said.
