The first state standards for delivery robots, so-called autonomous vehicles, are expected to be developed in Russia this year. The head of Rosstandart, Anton Shalaev, announced this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, work on developing standards has begun. In 2026, the agency plans to approve requirements related to the classification of such devices and general safety standards. However, we are not yet talking about regulating their integration into street traffic.
Delivery robots were created by Yandex in 2019. They are used to deliver orders from the Yandex.Food and Yandex.Lavka services and plot independent routes.
During their work, the rovers attracted people's attention. In Moscow, passersby often help robots escape from snowmobiles and even try to interact with them as if they were pets.
Previously, Roskachestvo announced the deadline for approval of standards for scarves. According to the Ministry, GOST for Shawarma is expected to be approved by the end of 2026.
