The Crew-12 mission is expected to launch to the International Space Station (ISS) in mid-February. This was announced by NASA head Jared Isaacman at a press conference broadcast on YouTube.

SpaceX's Crew Dragon crew will include Russian astronaut Andrei Fedyaev, Americans Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adeno.

They will not have a shift change with the Crew-11 crew. When their mission departs, only one NASA astronaut, Christopher Williams, will remain on the ISS. The head of NASA noted that the agency decided to return the crew from the ISS to Earth in the coming days due to the health condition of one of the astronauts.
The agency's chief physician, James Polk, said this was not related to combat operations or spacewalks.
The Crew-11 mission arrived at the ISS on August 2. Her crew included Michael Fink, Zena Cardman, Kimiya Yui and Oleg Platonov.
Previously, Santa Claus flew to the ISS on a Christmas trip.
