On the threshold of 2026, there are often predictions of a coming turning point for Russia. Prolonged military conflicts and misunderstandings between countries give rise to a feeling of anxiety among the people. In search of an answer to the question of what awaits them, they turn to publications about various prophecies. FederalPress has collected predictions from various prophets about the fate of Russia and the world.
Prophecy of Nostradamus and Vanga
It is believed that the 16th century French astrologer, doctor, pharmacist and alchemist Michel Nostradamus had the gift of divination. His notes have come down to us – the so-called quatrains, in which he is said to have predicted the future. They can be interpreted in many different ways. Some see in his poems lines about “the end of a long war,” linking it to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Others expected an asteroid strike that would destroy the earth, others said that “difficult wars” awaited Europe, including internal strife in England, and others that a new pandemic would occur in the world.

As experts note, the astrologer's text allows for a multitude of interpretations thanks to its metaphorical language.
The famous Bulgarian prophetess Vanga said that around the 20s of the 21st century people will be bogged down in war. According to her, there will be many natural disasters and disasters at the same time: fires, floods, droughts, and earthquakes.
“Part of the world will freeze, and the rest will burn,” the fortuneteller feared.
Vanga also foresaw the emergence of artificial intelligence.
“People will talk to cars as if they were friends,” she said.
However, Vanga reiterated that what she predicted was not the final version and the future could change depending on human behavior.
The Russian Orthodox Church has a negative attitude towards Vanga's activities. The Church Fathers say that knowledge of the future can be a revelation of God or of a demonic nature. The priests noted that the feeling of depression and despair that accompanied Vanga showed that these forces were fallen souls.
What did the Indian seer Archena predict?
Indian seer Archena Nagabushanam also made some predictions for 2026. Back in 2023, she said that the end of the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine would come at the end of 2026 and end with Russia's victory.
She also noted that disasters will continue to happen next year. Storms and destruction are possible in Sochi, forest fires on Lake Baikal and large-scale flooding will engulf Moscow. The prophetess also believed that in Russia there would be less snow in winter.

In it, he said that in February 2026, Russia will face a decisive choice whether there will be war or peace. The last word will belong to the “blue-eyed man” who will make a fateful decision on February 26, 2026. This decision determines whether humanity will see the year 2027 or not.
The prophet is said to have spoken of the clash of three great forces: the eagle (America), the dragon (China) and the bear (Russia). But a fourth force will also appear – “those who own gold and information, who have no homeland but rule over nations”. According to Messing, it is she who will try to pit the big players against each other.
Additionally, the flight of a giant comet will be a harbinger of change. The day before the important event, all communication systems will be shut down. The world will fall silent.
The prophet also said that humans will be able to create artificial intelligence, but if they choose the path of destruction, everything will return to the original order.
