Monse managed to package the declassified version of Windows into an installation file and download it to the Surface Duo smartphone, released in 2021. It turns out that the operating system displays the interface on two screens: applications open on the left by default, but you can move them to the second screen. Additionally, many familiar Windows elements – like the Start menu – are hidden but can be revealed by swiping from the left or right edge of the screen.
According to this enthusiast, a device running the Andromeda operating system can be used as a digital notepad. Additionally, programs written for Windows must run on the operating system. The journalists added that from 2016 to 2018, Microsoft tried to bring Windows Phone to new heights, but all attempts ended in failure and the company left the smartphone market.
