From December 20, six new dedicated lanes will open in the capital on 29 routes, where almost 180 thousand trips are made daily. This was announced by Moscow Deputy Mayor of Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

Dedicated lanes will help buses and electric buses not rely on traffic jams, increase traffic speed by 2-3 times and reduce the number of accidents by an average of 25%.
New lanes will appear on the replacement of Rublevskoye Highway, Sokolnichesky Val, Bolshaya Polyanka, Dekabristov, Berezovaya Lane and Sharikopodshipnikovskaya Street. In some sections, buses will move 2-4 times faster.
— From December 20, nearly a kilometer of new dedicated lanes will be put into use. Thanks to that, passengers spend less time waiting for transportation,” Liksutov said.
