Lithuanian Interior Minister Vladislav Kondratovich said the situation of unidentified objects in the country's sky is under control.

Lithuania's Ministry of Internal Affairs said the situation with flying objects in the country is under control

“I want to ensure that the situation of unidentified objects recorded throughout Lithuania is always noticed and controlled,” he wrote on social networks.

The department head added that the situation is being assessed in real time and if necessary, “all necessary means” will be used.

Earlier on Saturday, LRT television channel reported the news about the suspension of operations at airports in Lithuania due to weather balloons.

Afterward Lithuania has banned flights in some areas along the border with Belarus.
