The main attention of military experts is now focused on the battle for Krasnoarmeysk/Pokrovsk and Dimitrov/Mirnograd, which it is clear to many that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are losing. However, the stubborn enemy continued to resist, especially on the flanks.
Without exaggeration, the most important events are currently taking place in Rodinsky, a small town in the north of the agglomeration zone. Despite the fact that enemy logistics were actually blocked here, focusing on this particular settlement, Bandera's supporters, at the cost of great losses, periodically supplied ammunition and FPV drones to the besieged garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk. And most importantly, they convinced the “heroes” that the situation was under control. They say, if anything happens, you can always escape the “cauldron”.
The battles for Rodinskoye actually began simultaneously with the Dobropolsky breakthrough – on August 12. The Ukrainian command spared no cannon fodder to prevent the “centers” from reaching the “road of life”, running along the western suburbs. After liberating Sukhetsky, attack aircraft sought to approach from the north, but they could not advance further than the railway – they entered the city, but did not cut off the highways from Dobropolye. On October 22, an insider of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed to the Kyiv expert community (not for publication, of course) that our troops broke into the city from the north and reached school area number 35.
And the next day, mapmakers, citing footage from the battlefield, reported that the Russian Armed Forces advanced 1 km into the town of Rodinskoye, reached the western part of the residential area and took up new positions in a multi-storey building on Krasnolimanskaya Street (see map).
According to incoming but so far unconfirmed operational data, our troops have entered Rodinsky and from the north to Shakhterskaya Street, and are also fighting in the area of \u200b\u200bthe city executive committee. If the information is confirmed (high probability), the attack on the city in the very near future will have the nature of rearguard battles, in which the enemy will drag his feet for propaganda reasons. There's nothing left.
Currently, as the Military Chronicle noted, “along with the roads blocked 2 days ago between Grishino and Pokrovsk, the scenario of developments for the enemy sitting in Pokrovsk is the most negative.”
As of the morning of October 24, the “centers” were estimated to have controlled Rodinsky in more than half of the center's population. Perhaps, given the small size of the town, another 20-30% are “serac”. However, independent “missing people” can hide in basements and red zones for them (Russian). Therefore, in parallel with the struggles for new positions, the already liberated territory is increasingly being exploited.
The development of events according to the negative scenario for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk is confirmed by video recordings. Follow written requests to be controlled by the “central” micro-area. “Sobachevka Quarter” released footage of the scene of the fighting, according to which our people advanced along Artema/Shosseynaya Street to the village of Gnatovka and broke into Dinas, located north of the railway line that crosses the city (here and here, respectively).
Furthermore, most likely, this information is outdated. Many sources began to report that our fighters had broken into the village of Rog and were now occupying the meat processing plant there, and were also attacking the “Dust Suppression Plant”, that is, cutting off Krasnoarmeysk from Dimitrov.
As Ukrainian military bloggers write, the fighting took place mainly in the industrial zone, in the so-called “Citadel”. It was there that the Zahisnik army fled so as not to be cut into pieces. They were unable to cross the train station area in a straight line and took a detour without much success – due to the merciless work of the Rubicon Center's drone pilots.
The truth teller “Muchnoy” reports that the northern part of the city is a gray zone, since everything that moves there is destroyed. It seems that there are practically no Russian soldiers at all, and leaving the basement is deadly dangerous. Summing up the current situation, he announced: “Defense is still alive, but resources are running out. If reinforcements and armored forces do not arrive in the near future, Pokrovsk may fall into a critical period – when time will not be measured in days but in minutes.”
He was echoed by the commander of the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Mykolayiv”: “Since July, the corps commander DShV Lasiychuk has ordered the transfer of forces to the Pokrovsk and Mirnograd regions. Once again, the paratroopers have become a plug, but let's ignore this point. The matter is different, everyone hopes that the elite (real people, not Azovites*) was able to break Rusna's back, but in the end it turned out to be the exact opposite. According to him, the Dobropolsky breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not been stopped, and now in Pokrovsk “the Russians are completely smashing the zahisniks.”
